AN Urban TEA

Our Urban Tea event is served at our CommuniTea table for up to 10 people. For $12.50 per person this includes:

A pot of your favorite tea and a platter of tea desserts

English cheddar cheese with honey and some local treats

A scone served with Devonshire cream and preserves

Reserve the Table

I am an avid tea drinker and I absolutely love Urban Tea!I've done the tea tasting many times and love pretty much all of the tea that I've tried and it's really enjoyable getting to know people who start off as strangers. The owner is the nicest woman and her staff is excellent!!

This place is a Wonder in the middle of Alpharetta. The tea selection is vast and delicious, the scones are likely to be the best I've had in my life, and Debbie is the warmest person in Georgia (if that's even possible). For us, a tea and a scone was more than enough to start the day, but the place also offers cheeses (no heavy meals though). If interested, you can also buy tea leaves and mixes, teapots, kitchen utensils and books.I'll definitely come back!

TEA TASTING

Our Tea Tasting event is served at our CommuniTea table for up to 10 people. For $18.00 per person this includes:

6 different cups of tea

Locally baked scone with Devonshire cream & preserves

Reserve the Table

Tea tasting for 2 includes a scone and clotted cream which was such a good pairing for the teas my friend and I selected. You get a flight of 6 to try and we will be returning soon because 6 is not enough, we want to try them all! Every tea sounded delicious and we were not disappointed with what we tried. The space is small but feels cozy instead of squished. Customer service was great, teas were delicious, and everything is well priced. Definitely a great afternoon spot to relax.

There are places and people that can brighten your day and this place + Deb are it! As a tea sommelier and in general tea lover, I love this cute tea shop. Number one thing you look for is tea that you can see and smell which there's a huge wall of lovely things to smell. The menu can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't craving a certain type of tea, but Deb is a wonderful help with that. She guided me through her favorites as well as the best sellers and specialities that I enjoy such as oolong.

Teas are reasonably priced. You can give tea hot or iced to go and buy loose leaf starting at 2 oz. They also have cups, tea for your bath, tea lip balm and more. It's definitely a place you can find a gift for you and for someone else. Tea is so great and it's awesome to have amazing shops like this to go to!
